This was a pretty good week. I ate some cow tongue, It actually wasn't bad.
We were at the gas station the other night and heard gunshots from across the street. I didn't realize that it was gunshots at first, so I just kept on pumping my gas haha. I didn't see it, but from what I hear a car sped off after that.
Ahh, but I loved General Conference. It was one of my favorite ones I've seen. It could just be because I'm on my mission, but I thought this one was really really good! It's kinda cool; everyone seems to get out of conference what they need. One of the biggest things I got out of it was how plain and simple the gospel is. Our heavenly father loves and and wants us to return to live with him. If we follow his commandments we can have eternal joy.
I really loved Elder Hollands talk on the love of mothers. Another one of my favorites was Larry Laurence's talk. It's always important to always try to be better and find out what you need to improve on.
We watched Sunday afternoon conference with a family that we are teaching. It was really good, but it reminded me how hard it is for children to sit still for 2 hours strait. Most of my notes from the session were drawings from a 4 year old XD
