It has now been over a month since I reported to the MTC. Crazy to think about. This has been a pretty good week. I was finally able to get my hands on a guitar and play for some people at a dinner. That was really good. I miss playing music so much!
Ah, but life is good. There is a guy we are teaching, Colin, who is progressing really well. We've had a lot of great lessons with him and he's been coming to church quite a bit. We've scheduled him to be baptized Nov. 14, and things are looking good.
I gave my first priesthood blessing today to a lady who had the stomach flu. I wasn't expecting it and I was a little nervous, but it went well. I also gave my first talk out here this week. I was asked to speak on a hymn and I chose to do it on Ye Elders of Israel. It's a song that I had never really cared much for before my mission, but it really grew on my at the MTC.
We helped a lady on the side of the road change her tire. That was the first time I've ever done that. Learning new things ever day!
Stay positive and love your life!
